Membership

APSA membership is open to individuals with an interest in the pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practice, and pharmacy and pharmaceutical science education. Applicants can join as either full or student members. The membership fees are based on the calendar year and renewal notices will be sent to all current members at the beginning of each year. Financial members are considered those who have paid all membership fees up to and including the current calendar year. For members residing in Australia, membership fees are subject to GST.

Student members must provide evidence of current student status, such as a copy of a valid student card, at the time of application or renewal. Student membership is valid for one year.

APSA members who have reached the age of 65 years, or have retired from their full-time position, and who have contributed to APSA may be nominated to be elected as Life Members. Life Members shall be entitled to the privileges of membership of the Association; however, they will not be called upon to pay annual subscriptions. Life Members shall also be entitled to receive free registration to APSA conferences. Life Members will be elected and recognised at the Annual General Meeting.
